   1. Schools supplies collect - Sent to Sheikh Assane Cisse in early 2008;
   2. Accompanying jobs seekers to interviews and facilitating meeting with potential employers;
   3. Donation of computer to american talibe who was working on translating Baye Niass' book;
   4. Most active Baye Niass' related website;
   5. Small amount loans for members;
   6. Imam Hassan Cisse Zawiya in Las Vegas;
   7. Contribution to the Mosque of Medina Baye;

8. Scholarship Program for young students in Senegal (coming soon);

9. BBF Archive and Documentation Center in Medina Baye (Coming soon) Recently sent computers, printers, scanners and other electronic equipment for the center. Installation is in progress;

Welcome to BAYTU BARHAM !

Baytu Barham Foundation is a not-for-profit organization distinguished by its mission to create positive social changes in the Tijania community.

Its main purpose is to gather the collective knowledge and resources of the Tijania community to build a social network and help the less fortunate.

The foundation philosophy is based on peaceful, respectful non violent religious teachings from the late Sheikh Ibrahim Bye Niass, a religious scholar fromSenegal, West Africa .

Membership in the association is by invitation with a contribution fee in the amount of $50 USD to help fund the foundation’s programs.

The foundation board of directors will periodically evaluate new and current members to assure that the member constituents remain in line with the character and purpose of the foundation.

The social and Finance committees aims to organize fund raising campaigns to collect money and or In Kind donations to support the social and religious activities.

With the cash collected, the board of directors will evaluate the available options in order to make the best use of the funds. Below is an example of activities that will be considered:

v Collect school supplies and redistribute to low income children

v Collect used medical equipment in the US and send it to needed hospitals in West Africa. The foundation will pay all the related expenses.

v Leverage the foundation’s members network which includes many professionals (Doctors, Lawyers, CPA etc…) to provide assistance to its most needed members.

v Organize religious prayers for family events such as weddings, birth, funerals etc…

These programs are still being elaborated.
